A young woman holding a brush in one hand, and a tanzaku-sized poem-sheet in the other, is about to start writing a poem. This privately commissioned surimono is in unusually fine condition; the elaborate printing effects, like blind-printing and the silver- and gold-colored pigments are as mint as issued almost two hundred years ago. - Two poems with the poets' names.
