This and the other three garden sceneries by Bakufu shown in this gallery section differ quite substantially in style
from the traditional landscapes of the shin hanga movement of the first half of the 20th century. This typical
Bakufu style with its fairy-tale atmosphere resembling somehow the background of certain animated cartoons,
is as easily recognizable as Hiroshige's, e.g., a style also characteristic for his fish print series of 1940 shown
