"On this print Hideyoshi appears great and simple as popular mythology expects
a real leader to look. He is gazing kindly at a kneeling commoner, wicker baskets
with melons standing on both of his sides. In his right hand Hideyoshi is holding
his naked blade ready to cut the melon that rests on his outstreched left palm." (*)
