Sugoroku ('double-sixes') are Japanese board games that can be traced back to the twelfth century. Themes include a large variety of topics. - Our print block deals, on one side, with the historical revenge drama, the Chushingura, involving the Forty-seven Ronin and their mission to avenge the death of their master's death, and on the other shows a game, freely translated: "Close inspection of famous places, products and objects of the city of Osaka."
