This and the other two landscapes by Bakufu shown in this gallery section differ quite substantially in style from the traditional landscapes of the shin hanga movement of the first half of the 20th century. - Single designs from this series were published monthly, and issued mounted in folders (* therefore prints are occasionally found with faint remnants of the original presentation folder on the back and margins, as in this case).
